Banana Peppers

I harvested 21 banana peppers this morning, and I didn't pick them all!

banana peppers galore!

They're pretty, but I'm not sure what to do with them all. I pickled some up for my FIL last week. I guess I'll pickle these up to. If you've got suggestions, I'm all ears - well, actually, I'm all peppers.

I have a suggestion, but not one you will like ... it is not healthy.
We buy hot banana peppers, cut them into slices, take the seeds out, and bread them and then deep fry until they are golden brown. Hot or mild peppers - it is all good in the deep fryer.

That sounds darn good. I might give a try!

yum -- sort of like poppers, but without the cheese in the middle. You can't be healthy all the time.

Your garden looks great - very jealous as I am still in the planning stage. Our house is coming along, but all landscaping/gardening will wait till I can trust that the workers won't walk all over everything. Are you still planting anything for fall? Was thinking I should try something in our rental yard.

Enjoy all of late summer's bounty. We're loving it here

Well, what did you end up making with them? Maybe you can give me some new ideas!
